This is your essential legal wedding ceremony — just you, me and your two witnesses. No elaborate storytelling, no personalised ceremony script, no rehearsal, no pa system & microphone and no additional guests. A signing table will be included when required at no additional cost.

Your own children are welcome to be part of your elopement and aren’t counted as additional guests — because sometimes keeping it simple still means having your little (or not-so-little!) people there with you.

📸 Photos & Video
If you’d like a photographer or videographer, you’re welcome to organise one — or keep things super simple and have your witnesses capture a few photos or videos for you. Or include this as an add-on (see below).
💍 Want to add rings or personal vows? Absolutely!
Both are completely optional and can easily be added alongside the required legal wording, giving you the chance to add a little more you while keeping things short and simple.
🏡 Your place, my place or somewhere completely unexpected!
Your backyard, lounge room, my garden or another simple location that feels right. The idea is to keep it relaxed, intimate and completely fuss-free.
The $550 Ink the Papers package is available within the Fraser Coast region. Want to get legally hitched somewhere further afield? Absolutely! Additional travel costs will apply and will be quoted based on your location before you book. No surprise fees — you’ll know the full cost upfront.

ADD A LITTLE STYLE — $150
Want to keep your elopement simple but make the space feel a little more special?
Add a simple ceremony set-up including a signing table, two chairs, your choice of blue or red patterned ceremony mat and/or black runner and a selection of simple decorative touches from my available collection.
I’ll bring it, set it up and pack it away afterwards — you just turn up and get married! 🖤
Available for Fraser Coast elopements and subject to location and set-up requirements.
INK THE MEMORIES — $250
Because some moments deserve more than a phone selfie.
Before becoming a celebrant, I also worked as a professional photographer, so if you’re keeping your wedding small and don’t need a dedicated wedding photographer, you can add a little professional coverage to your Ink the Papers ceremony.
Your ceremony will be recorded on a tripod-mounted camera while I’m busy doing the important bit — getting you married! Afterwards, I’ll swap the celebrant hat for my photographer hat and spend around 20 minutes capturing you as newlyweds.
Includes: tripod-recorded video of your ceremony, a short post-ceremony photo session, and 15 professionally edited high-resolution digital images.
Because I’m your celebrant as well as your photographer, still photographs aren’t taken during the ceremony itself. The video camera will be set up to capture the ceremony, including your vows, rings and kiss, subject to positioning and conditions.
That’s it — no fuss, no unnecessary extras, just the important legal bits and the two of you getting married. 🖤
🖤The Essential Wedding — $1,200
A beautifully personalised wedding ceremony for couples who want something meaningful, relaxed and completely them — without all the extras.
You’ll still have a ceremony created around your story, your people and your personalities, with everything you need for a personal, memorable and legally valid wedding — just kept beautifully simple.

✓ Initial meeting & Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) — We’ll need to complete and sign your NOIM and get the legal process underway. Face-to-face meetings can be arranged in Howard, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Childers or Tiaro, depending on what’s most convenient for you. Or in this modern age we can do this all online!
You’ll need to provide your driver licence and birth certificate, or your passport. If you’ve been married before, you’ll also need evidence that your previous marriage has ended, such as a divorce order or death certificate.
If meeting in person isn’t practical, your NOIM can also be completed remotely. I’ll send you a link through Celebrant Connection with instructions for completing the form and having your signatures appropriately witnessed.
✓ One planning meeting — face-to-face (Howard, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Childers or Tiaro), via Whatsapp, zoom or by email.
✓ A fully personalised ceremony script – created from a list of questions sent to you both so I can get to know you, your relationship and the story you want your ceremony to tell. A draft of your ceremony will be sent to you for review, with one round of changes included.
✓ Personal vows, if you want them — completely optional. I’ll provide three vow options for you to choose from, or you can mix, match and adapt the wording to create vows that feel more like you. Of course, you’re also welcome to write your own!
✓ One additional ceremony element of your choice, such as:
- Handfasting

- Unity candle

🚗 Travel & Additional Costs

I’m based in Howard on the Fraser Coast, but I’m always happy to travel for a great love story!
Wedding-day travel is included throughout the Fraser Coast and for locations within approximately one hour’s drive of Howard and to Bundaberg and Gympie.
For Ink the Papers Elopements, the $550 package includes travel within the Fraser Coast region only. Elopements outside the Fraser Coast are absolutely welcome, with additional travel charged at $1.00 per kilometre, calculated on the additional return distance from Howard.
For Essential Weddings, face-to-face meetings can be arranged in Howard, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Childers or Tiaro. An optional $200 rehearsal is available within the Fraser Coast region; additional rehearsal travel may attract a travel fee.
For Bespoke and Signature Weddings, face-to-face planning and one rehearsal within the Fraser Coast region are included. Rehearsals outside the Fraser Coast may attract an additional travel fee.
Further afield? Absolutely! I travel Australia-wide.
For locations outside my included wedding-day travel area, additional road travel is generally charged at $1.00 per kilometre, calculated on the additional return distance from Howard. Longer-distance and interstate weddings will be quoted individually.
Travel fee example: If your venue is 200 km beyond my included travel area (approx 1 hr), the additional return distance is 400 km. At $1 per kilometre, the travel fee would be $400. Your exact travel fee will be confirmed before booking. This is an example for travel to and from Brisbane.
Where flights, accommodation, ferries, tolls or other significant travel expenses are required, these will be discussed and agreed upon before booking.

🔐 Ready to make it official?
Once you’ve decided I’m the celebrant for you, securing your wedding date is easy.
Simply choose your ceremony package, complete and sign your Service Agreement — which I can email to you or provide at our initial meeting when we complete your NOIM — and pay the required booking payment.
Once your signed Service Agreement and booking payment have both been received, your wedding date is officially confirmed and reserved for you. 🖤
Please keep in mind that an enquiry, initial meeting or verbal agreement does not reserve your date. Until your booking is confirmed, the date will remain available to other couples.
I deliberately limit the number of weddings I accept each week so I can give every couple the time, preparation and personal attention their ceremony deserves.
